Hailing originally from New Zealand, Conor McCabe and Barnaby Matthews have created a buzz in their adopted home town of Melbourne in the four short years of working together with their day-dreamy, sunset jams and tongue-in-cheek storytelling. After a chance run in at a house party, the duo were formed when Conor sang a D'Angelo song to a recently production-obsessed Barnaby. Their unusual style is reflected in their contagious, heartfelt and relatable music, whether it's creating a sparkling pop anthem in an ode to denim '501s' , or crafting darker bedroom sounds in 'Linen' or capturing a crush in their 2014 breakout single 'Keeper'.
